Vittoria’s Tire Factory LTT honored with Italian Ambassador visit
Bangpoo (Thailand) – At the invitation of Vittoria and its tire factory LTT, his excellency Mr. Francesco Saverio Nisio, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand paid a working visit to the factory premises at Bangpoo. His excellency was accompanied by Mr. Lamberto Moruzzi, the first counsellor and deputy ambassador.
Vittoria operates its Asia Pacific headquarters from Thailand and provides employment for hundreds of locals, making the global organization one of the largest operations with Italian heritage on Thai soil. Vittoria is also a member of the Thai Italian Business forum. His excellency the ambassador and his entourage were keen to understand the details of Vittoria’s investment and success in Thailand.
With Khun Penparn, managing director of LTT, and Alberto La Lumia, financial senior executive of Vittoria, as the gracious hosts, the honoured officials of the Italian delegation were privy to detailed insight on the operations and investments that are visible on the factory premises.
The factory visit included witnessing the unique and exclusive four-headed extruder in action. This custom built high-tech machinery is capable of precisely placing four separate rubber compounds very precisely next to and/or on top of each other for the best purpose-built tire performance available in the market. Furthermore the factory tour displayed the handmade process for Vittoria’s famous tubulars and open tubulars.
Of course the entirety of the wide range of Road, MTB and City tires manufacturing as well as the elaborate testing and quality process were on display for the visitors as well. His excellence the ambassador and his deputy ambassador were able to satisfy their curiosity and interest in the intricate details of the various processes of bicycle tire manuafactoring at the highest level.
