Syerra Down-Country

Fantastic cornering grip, but still roll pretty quick.

After a few rides in Brown County, I’m very impressed with these tires. They roll over rocks and roots with ease. They also seemed to roll quite fast over the hard pack and corner well. Also, thru do self clean in mud, which is handy. I highly recommend these tires. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This tire strikes a good balance of grip and rolling speed. I am a trail rider and dabble in racing too. For me this tire give me enough durability and grip without giving up too much rolling speed. It's kind of a Unicorn that way. The Maxxis Recon used to be (and still might be) its closest competitor. But Maxxis beefed up the Recon to weigh a lot more and roll slower. This Syrra lasts a long time, just like the other Vittoria Tires I use. This tire isn't a race tire per se. But I have an endurance race this summer and I plan on running this in the front. Pick up a couple of these tires, you will be glad you did!
