With the application of Graphene in Vittoria wheels and tires, we have truly developed revolutionary products. Therefore, we have created a new product range called the “Intelligent Tire System” (IT’S).
Vittoria tires are now intelligent. IT’S compounds become harder and softer, depending on the needs of the rider. If the tire is rolling straight, the rubber is at its hardest and offers low rolling resistance. If the rider breaks, accelerates or corners, the compounds soften and offer significantly more grip. Prior to the advanced development of Graphene, there was always the requirement of choosing between optimizing, or aiming at, speed, grip, durability and puncture protection. Effectively, the introduction of Graphene allows for natural material barriers of rubber to be removed, which means that there is no longer the need for such compromises between speed, grip, durability and puncture resistance. All these features are now reaching their maximum possibilities.
Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of a very thin, nearly transparent sheet of pure carbon. In its extreme form it is as thin as a single atom (1/1,000,000,000th of a meter). Vittoria uses a form of Graphene which is 2 to 8 atoms thin.
Specific examples of improvement in road tires
The new Graphene-enhanced Triathlon Speed follows the optimized road racing version, Corsa speed, with additional puncture protection to reduce the risk of punctures for triathletes. The butyl inner tube allows the bike to stay in the holding area overnight, retaining the selected air pressure
The Rubino Pro series has been expanded with a Graphene-enhanced tubular tire for races and training in bad weather and road conditions. The new tubular Rubino Pro has a butyl inner tube to ensure longer air retention.

Vittoria tires and tubulars range from 26 TPI to 320 TPI. Riders in search of higher performance are more likely to choose higher-TPI tires. For many sporting riders, folding tires of around 150 TPI are a good all-round combination of weight, rolling resistance, durability, and comfort.
A higher TPI brings the benefit of lower weight and rolling resistance, at the expense of durability. Riders aiming to play harder seek out tubulars and open tubulars with the maximum flexibility of high TPI casings.

The sublime performance of Vittoria tires and tubulars is the product of years of experience, R&D, and advanced production technology. At its heart is our mastery of fine-cotton Corespun production. Simply put, the finer the Corespun fabric, the more supple the tire casing. The casing conforms closer to the road’s surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling, and better grip. The grade of fabric used in a tire’s casing is expressed in threads-per-inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the finer the threads, the denser the weave, and the suppler the tire. Uniquely, Vittoria makes casings with 320 TPI Corespun yarn—the finest available.
Vittoria cotton casings differ in thread size and additive content, according to intended use:
Corespun T 320 TPI utilizes the finest thread available, exclusive to Vittoria. This special 320 TPI fabric makes for the lightest, supplest, and fastest casing ever, to sustain the highest pressures used on track.
Corespun K 320 TPI has a mixture of aramid threads for casings where strength is of the essence.
Corespun 320 TPI is our most advanced Corespun casing, made of the finest poly-cotton thread with no added aramid.
Corespun 290 TPI is a high-TPI cotton with polyester yarn, producing a flexible, strong casing sustaining high pressures and offering outstanding performance and comfort.
Cotton 220 TPI Cotton is the traditional material of high-quality racing tubulars. Vittoria uses the finest grade of natural cotton, 220 TPI, in a diverse range of top-class tubulars.
Nylon is a robust and durable artificial fiber traditionally used for strong tire casings. The artificial fiber can be very light but is not as supple as Corespun. Our Nylon casings set a new standard in their class. Vittoria offers casings in Nylon 180 TPI, 150 TPI, 120 TPI, Nylon 60 TPI, and Nylon 26 TPI, each equipping tires at its respective point on the price-performance scale, and all conferring the Vittoria characteristics of comfort, speed, and good handling.
Vittoria’s unique and revolutionary Graphene compound. No compromise is necessary with this compound that is superior in speed (rolling resistance), grip, durability and wear resistance.
Endura is Vittoria’s basic compound, designed especially for durability. This compound is used for products that offer high-mileage, which is
desired for training purposes.
Exclusively developed by Vittoria to achieve performance products without compromise. Vittoria 4C is a layering process, using 4 separate compounds in the same tread. The 4C process offers unmatched versatility, by allowing for separate base and surface compounds, in both the center and side areas of the tread. Benefiting from the different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech*, their distribution is extensively tested to deliver the best products imaginable.
Applied by Vittoria to deliver all-round products without compromise. Vittoria 3C is a layering process, using 3 separate compounds in the same tread. The different properties of each compound, including the G+ Isotech*, allow for the improved experience in all circumstances.
The tread is glued by hand on the casing, a labor-intensive process exclusively used for premium tubulars. The tubular tire’s round profile gives it several advantages over any clincher. Cornering is more predictable and shock absorption is superior. Also, the broad glued interface to the rim spreads shock loads more evenly through the casing, letting the tire absorb big hits without deflecting or slowing down. Vittoria strongly recommends Mastik Pro, offering great adhesion even at high temperatures (up to 140 degrees Celsius).

The open tubular has exactly the same production process and properties as the tubular, except for the sown-in inner tube. Open are handmade with Aramid folding bead for optimal clinching.
The open tubular TLR shares the same production process and properties as the open tubular, with the addition of a stronger bead material. For optimal safety, this construction is designed to withstand 18 bar of pressure on a standard alloy tubeless rim.
Vittoria’s latex inner tubes are lightweight and fast, as they have a lower rolling resistance compared to butyl tubes. The thin latex stretches and deforms thanks to its highly elastic nature, making these tubes difficult to puncture. Latex inner tubes work well with latex sealant, now commonly used for additional protection.
Vittoria’s butyl ultralite and lite inner tubes provide an airtight performance. The ultralite tubes are extruded with the latest available technology to ensure a uniform wall thinness and relatively high elasticity for butyl. The lite tubes have a thicker wall with the right balance between reliability and elasticity.
