Giro d’Italia 2012

“The toughest race of the year in the most beautiful place”…Giro d’Italia 2012 has been officially presented!

The Giro 2012 will start in Denmark and covers 21 stages of 3.476,4 km in total.
May 5 2012 the Giro will start from Herning, Denmark. A flat start of the race which will remain flat for the first two weeks.
The real mountain challenge will come at stage 14 (Cherasco-Cervinia). From that point on, riding will become harder and harder. Giau, Manghen, Pampeago, Mortirolo and Stelvio, icon climbs in cycling, characterize the last stages.
The Giro comes to an end in Milan on May 27, concluding with a time trial.

Il Lombardia

The big classical race ‘Il Lombardia’ takes place on October, the 15th!
241km, 5 climbs and the famous Ghisallo, closer to the finish line before the new climb Villa Vergano in Lecco province.
25 teams will be at the departure (18 Pro Tour Teams and 7 wild card).
