Vittoria wins Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne with Vacansoleil and more...
Another victory for our palmares last week end. After 11 years as a professional, Bobbie Traksel (Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team) locked down the biggest win of his career as he outpaced Rick Flens (Rabobank) and Ian Stannard (Sky Professional Cycling Team) to win the 63rd edition of Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne in Belgium on Sunday! Dominique Rollin and Thor Hushovd (Cervélo TestTeam) finished top 10 in the general ranking! Vacansoleil, Rabobank and Cervélo TestTeam chose Vittoria clinchers and tubulars for all their races. In classically brutal Belgian weather conditions Traksel showed a great performance supported by our Pavè EVO CG that guarantees better grip in the wet thanks to its special Kevlar® SiO2 3D Compound.
Other great results came from Spain. Cervélo TestTeam's Theo Bos captured his first victory of the season, winning the one day Classic of Almeria. The 173.4 kilometre race celebrating its 25th edition, started and finished in the southern Spanish city of Almeria. Third place for Graeme Brown (Rabobank).
Cervélo TestTeam continued with Heinrich Haussler who placed second at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in Belgium, Tyler Farrar (Garmin-Transitions) finished in third in the 204.3 kilometre race.
A demonstration that Vittoria guarantees great results!
