Tour of Flanders and Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda ...

Great week-end for Vittoria and its sponsored riders!
Belgium's premier race, Tour of Flanders, featuring 16 steep climbs, many of which are over bone-jarring cobbles, was won yesterday by local favorite Stijn Devolder (Quick Step) who retained his Tour of Flanders title, finishing nearly a minute ahead of second place Heinrich Haussler of Cervélo Test Team, sponsored by Vittoria. Philippe Gilbert (Silence-Lotto) finished third.
Haussler won the sprint for second place after a great attack in the last kilometer that was marred by a nasty crash on the final straight into Meerbeke. That crash involved Cervélo's Thor Hushovd who was taken to hospital to be checked over. Hushovd was disappointed and said "that he would have won the sprint for 3rd place without the crash."

Pavè Evo CG
Paris-Roubaix trial with the Cervèlo Test Team

The Paris - Roubaix will take place Sunday April 12th, one of the hardest and most famous cycling races, because of the typical pavè pavement, which tests the riders abilities and also our tires.
We were with the Cervélo Test Team, testing the tires on pavè in Belgium in order to prepare the team for this important race.
A great experience, and our Pavè Evo CG passed the test with flying colors! It's a tire created for cycling on any road surface (including pavè and asphalt), especially suitable for racers in the North European classic races.
We made a short video to make you understand the typical atmosphere of such a competition as the Paris- Roubaix...go and watch it!

Cervélo TestTeam is pleased to announce TestTeamTravel, a new opportunity for fans to participate in professional cycling

Cycling's traditional focus on winning races results in the riders being shielded as much as possible from anything that could interfere with this goal, including sometimes cycling fans. While racing is also important for the Cervélo TestTeam, its two other goals - Product development and Fan access - carry equal weight.
The newest way for the TestTeam to improve fan access is through TestTeamTravel, which will give fans the full pro treatment with the opportunity to get closer than you've ever been to both the action and the riders. TestTeamTravel packages are now available for the Classics and the Giro d'Italia. Packages for the Tour de France will be available soon.

Of course using Vittoria Pista Evo CL!
Second place for Wendy Houvenaghel (Great Britain), also her running on Vittoria tubulars!!!
"It felt good today," said Shanks. "We went out there with a game plan to ride my own race for the first six laps to make sure I had enough left in the tank to race in the second half and it worked tonight.
"Over the past few years I have always gone faster in the second round and I realised that if I nailed it technically and didn't blow myself up, that I would be able to fight for it in the last four laps where it counts," she added.

Milano-Sanremo - Vittoria on the podium with the Cervélo TestTeam
Haussler 2nd and Hushovd 3rd

Mark Cavendish (Team Columbia - Highroad) narrowly beat Heinrich Haussler and Thor Hushovd (Cervélo TestTeam) in yesterday's Milano-Sanremo.
Jean-Paul van Poppel, one of the Sports Director's for todays race commented, "Heinrich started out early to bring Thor into the best position, but he actually went so hard that nobody could hold his wheel at that moment. He slowed down at 100 m and Cavendish was on his way in and just nailed him down within the last 50 m.
"It was all in the game where you look for an opportunity in the moment. Except for Cavendish, if Heinrich could have held for one more second, he would have won. But that was the race."
Many compliments guys!
